Volume 11 deals with an important present and future problem of mankind, namely eternal life in general and the relationship between the afterlife and this world in particular.

“We are from God and to Him we will return!” (Holy Quran 2:157) Therefore it also discusses the solutions that Islam offers for preparing for the afterlife and the opportunities it offers Muslims in their relationship with themselves. This includes, in particular, that one - both in this world and in the hereafter - achieve happiness on the basis of:

• of one’s own faith.
• of one’s own behavior.
• of one’s own inclinations

Belief in the Last Day and life after death was taught by all Prophets and Messengers. The Holy Quran also calls for a believing approach to eternal life, which also corresponds to faith in God’s justice. In addition, the belief in being accountable for one’s actions allows people to act thoughtfully and responsibly.

Through the Quran’s doctrine of the afterlife, death also acquires meaning. This means that it can be assumed in confidence that death is not the last thing, but that God leads us out of death to eternal life. Death is not final, but life, that can be achieved through good deeds. What should be our goal is to prepare to conquer death or to taste and enjoy it.
